From a young age Miriam has been developing her photographic repertoire, with a keen eye for the expressiveness and creativity of people. Born in New Zealand, she has travelled widely and has enjoyed using her camera in countries around the world such as Morocco, Brazil, Mozambique, Central Africa and the Philippines.

Miriam recently completed her studies at the Norwich School of Art and Design, graduating with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design and Photography. Her work included a prize-winning project in association with one of the city’s professional firms, featured in the Eastern Daily Press. Her final show featured images created in partnership with dancers, illustrating many expressions of dance from ballet to belly dancing, capturing form and colour, movement and personality.

Now based in Norfolk, Miriam has worked to commercial and personal commissions, in her Norwich studio and on location.  She continues to have a particular passion for dance photography and also specialises in images related to surf, travel and the developing world. She is happy to meet to discuss ideas.
